As Director of Capital Projects, Toby managed a $90 million portfolio of City-funded projects, including historic restoration, interior renovations, infrastructure improvements and the ground-up BAM Fisher Building. Some highlights included:

  • BAM Fisher Building, a complex mix of historic preservation and ground-up new construction
  • Historic façade restoration of landmark Peter J. Sharp Building, including reconstruction of the original cornice and parapet
  • Canopy project, which added a modern, undulating steel and structural glass canopy to the façade
  • Opera House historic paint restoration
  • Extensive infrastructure work (MEP, elevators, roofing, etc.)
  • Interior renovations of the dressing rooms, lobbies, art gallery,
  • Fly loft and system replacement and extensive backstage work at the BAM Harvey and BAM Opera House
